Shake on the Lake Presents Henry V
Thursday, July 25th from 6:30-8pm

"Let us...on your imaginary forces work." This line from the Prologue of Henry V by William Shakespeare says it all: Shake on the Lake approaches staging these 400+ year old works through fast, fun, and physical spectacle by our stellar company of professional actors and designers!

Henry V is a story of a reluctant leader, one who is thrust into a position of power, rebels against it, but ultimately sees the importance of self-sacrifice for the people and the good of the nation. With the help of friends, foes, and ghosts from the past, including the comic knight, Sir John Falstaff, Henry V takes us on journey through English history against their bitter foe, France, culminating in Henry's infamous St. Crispin's Day speech before the historic Battle of Agincourt.

The Chorus, or ever-present narrative device of the play, lends this story to simple, performer-driven spectacle. We will embrace this idea of "imaginary forces" with our staging of this great history play, performed by five actors, doubling and tripling roles, enhanced by professional design elements. Henry V will be a theatrical tour de force.

In case of inclement weather, the show will be moved under a tent on the premises.

Sunset Concert Series
May 23rd to September 5th

Join us on the first and third Thursday of each month this summer for live music, food, and fun on the Wadsworth Homestead porch. The season opens on May 23 with last year’s fan favorite Cinnamon Jones! Doors will open at 5, music starts at 5:30. Eclipse Viewing Party
Monday, April 8th from 12-6pm

Come spend the "night" with us on April 8th! You'll have a great view overlooking the valley. Bring a chair and a blanket, get cozy, and hang out while listening to our Eclipse play list. We will provide gumbo, N/A drinks, and snacks. Parking and Eclipse glasses are included. Tickets are $20 per person. Children under 12 are free. Note: the event tent is heated and will be available in case of cold weather. Public restrooms on-site.

The Lunar Ball
Saturday, April 6th at 6pm

Join us for an enchanting evening under the moonlight at The Wadsworth Homestead! We will transform the historic Wadsworth Homestead into a twinkling celestial wonderland to celebrate the impending solar eclipse.

The evening will start in the house with signature cocktails at 6, then move to the tent for dancing and heavy hors d'oeuvres. Get your dancing shoes ready, as we have a fantastic live band, Uptown Groove who will keep you moving all night long!

A cash bar serving a signature cocktail, wine, beer and mixed drinks will be available. Dress to impress and make sure to don your most celestial attire for our custom Photo Booth

Each ticket includes two LivCo Sol Eclipse Viewing Glasses and an invite back to the Homestead West Lawn to view the Eclipse on Monday April 8, 2024. Parking will be free for all Lunar Ball ticket holders.
