Historic home Tours
Teddy Roosevelt was a frequent visitor to the Wadsworth Homestead. Built in 1804, and occupied by the Wadsworth family ever since, this house has stories to tell! Authentic art, artifacts and memorabilia remain in the house from each generation and help to illustrate the story that starts before the American Revolution and continues to the present.
Sixth generation family member William S. Wadsworth will escort you through the house sharing stories of the family and their role in American history. Learn how two brothers pioneered their way to Geneseo and founded the village at a time when the seneca indians still lived here.
Tours are $15 per person; group rates are available. Call or text Will anytime at 585-764-9005 to set up a time and day for a tour at your convenience.
